Alexander Webster makes it a clean sweep for Huskie Cross Country in this week’s Athlete of the Week recognition, as he takes home the honour after helping lead the Saskatchewan men’s team to their first podium at the conference championships since 2002. The fourth-year engineering major crossed the finish line with a time 26:21.22, earning 12th in the men’s race. Thanks in part to his team-leading performance the Huskie men earned team bronze, finishing just half a point behind the 2nd-place Victoria Vikes. This marks the first All-Star nod of Webster’s career in green and white.
