Saturday afternoon in Lethbridge, third year goalkeeper from Regina, Jaron Slopinski helped the Huskies to their second win of the season with a clean sheet performance against the Pronghorns. The arts & science major made three saves in the narrow 1-0 victory, which included a potentially game-saving stop on a penalty kick in extra time. Slopinski has now logged back-to-back clean sheets early in the 2024 season, bringing his career total to seven through three seasons. He now sits in a three-way tie for third place and just four back of the program record for career shutouts in green & white.
