This past weekend in Alberta, Tia Lecox helped the Huskies secure an import win against a divisional opponent in the Lethbridge Pronghorns, scoring two second half goals in the Dogs’ 6-0 win. A transfer from the Winnipeg Wesmen, Lecox has been a welcome addition to the Huskie lineup, scoring five times this season (T-2nd in CW) while appearing in all six games and starting four. Saturday against the Pronghorns, both of Lecox’s goals came from distance, with the product of Ottawa scoring from 18 and 15-yards out. The following day against the Calgary Dinos Lecox was back on the pitch, and despite a Huskie loss, she brought great energy to the Huskies second half attack.
