Rookie kicker Lukas Scott takes home Athlete of the Week honours after a game-winning performance Friday night at Griffiths Stadium. The kinesiology major connected on a 47-yard field goal with 54 seconds left in the game to propel the Huskies past the No. 9-ranked Alberta Golden Bears and into 3rd-place in the conference standings. Prior to capping off the Dogs' comeback, Scott had already put in an impressive performance going 4/4 on kicks (1 FG, 3 PATs) while averaging 61.1 yards per kick off and 41.1 yards per punt. Through five games the product Saskatoon and Holy Cross graduate has been a steady presence on special teams, converting on 80% of field goal attempts and 100% on PATs to accoutn for 38 points scored.
