In their 2024-25 home-opening weekend Gage Grassick did it all for the Huskie women's basketball team. On Friday night Grassick recorded an record-setting statline of 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists, becoming the first ever Saskatchewan women's basketball player to record a regular season triple-double, and just the 12th in the history of the conference. Her sensational performance helped the Dogs earn a lopsided 92-48 win over the Manitoba Bisons before the team doubled down with an 88-47 win Saturday night. In total, Grassick finished the weekend with 32 points while shooting an incredible 76% from the field.
