SASKATOON, SK – After a narrow, three-point win for the Calgary Dinos on Friday evening, the two teams returned to Ron & Jane Graham Centre Court at the Physical Activity Complex for a rematch. The Dinos headed back to Alberta with a weekend sweep of the Huskies, after a 78-61 win over the Huskies.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Dinos dominated the third quarter, at one point holding a 27-point lead over the Huskies. Tyrese Potoma kept the Huskies hopes high with a big three, ending the scoring drought. He ended the quarter with a steal and a fast-break layup off a long Dino pass.
  • In final efforts, the Huskies found new energy after a lackluster third quarter, going on a 10-point scoring run to start the fourth. Despite their efforts and outscoring the Dinos 20-18 in the final quarter, the Dinos would not relent, taking home the win.
