Captain of the Huskie Wrestling team and fifth-year student-athlete, Drake Buechler had a flawless weekend at home this past Friday and Saturday. The Warman, SK, product won his match in the Huskie Duals on Friday night, pinning Guelph’s Cooper Feke to help the Dogs earn a 54-34 team victory. The following day he was back on the mats at the Huskie Open, capturing Gold in the men’s 61kg weight class after winning all three of his matches by pin or technical superiority. His efforts at Education Gymnasium once again helped his team to a win, finishing atop the men’s team standings for the Open.Â
