Huskie men’s soccer third-year midfielder Daler Tokhirov played a major role in helping secure the Huskies first win of the 2024 season this past weekend at Griffiths Stadium. The Business major from Calgary recorded two assists and three shots in Sunday’s victory over the MacEwan Griffins, setting up the eventual game-winner and back-to-back USask scores. Both assists came thanks to beautiful centering passes resulting in goals from teammates Ethan Cabral and Robert Woodroffe-Brown. Tokhirov’s two points also marked the first of his collegiate career.
