Mar. 11, 2025 -Â Â Veteran guard Gage Grassick was the best player on the court in the 2025 Canada West Championship, leading the Huskies to a 10th conference title in a 71-59 win over UBC. With the Huskie offence struggling to open the game, the 2025 Canada West Player of the Year took control, scoring in bunches on her way to a 31-point performance. Grassick orchestrated several scoring runs for the Huskies, with the most important being an 11-4 run late in the first half to cut the Thunderbird lead to two and get the Dogs back in the game. The fourth-year guard added seven assists, two steals, and a block to go along with an outstanding shooting performance where she connected on four triples and 12 field goals.
Nov. 12, 2024 - In their 2024-25 home-opening weekend Gage Grassick did it all for the Huskie women's basketball team. In total, Grassick finished the weekend with 32 points while shooting an incredible 76% from the field.
