Braden McLean

Born in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan, Braden attended the USask from 2009-2014. During his time as a student-athlete, he helped the Huskies get back to a powerhouse within Canada West as one of the top middle blockers in the country, and is one of the best middle blockers in Huskie history. 

After his time with the Huskies, Braden went on to train and compete with the national team. With Team Canada, he played in Pan American Cups, FISU games, FIVB World League, and the U21 World Championship. 

Professionally, Braden competed in Sweden, France and Israel, finishing his career in 2018. He joined the Huskie coaching staff during the 2019-20 season.
