Huskie Athlete of the Week (Sept 24, 2018):

University of Saskatchewan midfielder Jakub Rogowski continued his steady play in the heart of midfield for the Huskies men’s soccer team last weekend.

The fifth year from Saskatoon, SK played in 180minutes of the Huskies’ weekend in a loss to the Fraser Valley Cascades (1-0) and a tie with the UBC Okanagan Heat (1-1). Rogowski scored the lone goal of the weekend for the Huskies by volleying in a bouncing ball into the top corner of the net against the Heat and was a force to be reckoned with all weekend long in the middle of the pitch.

Rogowski and the Huskies are back in action this coming weekend when they travel to face the MacEwan Griffins (Sep. 29) and Alberta Golden Bears (Sep. 30).
