Huskie Athlete of the Week (Oct 30, 2018):
University of Saskatchewan guard Lawrence Moore got his season off to a fantastic start, scoring 56 points while adding 12 assists and six steals in the Huskies season-opening split in Vancouver.

The fifth year from Chicago, Ill. recorded 33 points, four steals and five assists in Friday night’s 92-87 loss and followed that up with 23 points, seven assists and two steals in a 102-93 win on Saturday.

Moore and the Huskies are back in action this coming weekend for their home-openers on Nov. 2 & 3.

Huskie Athlete of the Week (February 5, 2018):

University of Saskatchewan guard Lawrence Moore helped the Huskies secure a home playoff spot in a Canada West Play-In game with 67 points in two games against the Regina Cougars.

The Arts & Science student from Chicago, Illinois scored neared a triple-double in Friday’s 93-80 win. Moore tallied 24 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds in his 40 minutes. He added four steals and three blocks in the game. A night later in an 81-76 loss, Moore recorded a game-high 43 points, three rebounds, two assists and three steals. 

Moore and the Huskies host the Victoria Vikes Friday at 7 p.m. The winner of the single elimination game moves on to a quarter-final round.

Huskie Athlete of the Week (January 29, 2018):

University of Saskatchewan guard Lawrence Moore helped the Huskies to a weekend sweep the Brandon Bobcats to continue to keep pace in the playoff race. 

The Arts & Science student from Chicago, Illinois scored a game-high 35 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block in 32 minutes Friday. A day later, Moore added another game-high 24 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals.

The pair of wins extended Saskatchewan’s win streak to seven games.

Moore and the Huskies return home to host provincial rival the Regina Cougars next weekend.

Huskie Athlete of the Week (December 4, 2017):

University of Saskatchewan guard Lawrence Moore was strong in a weekend series with the No. 4 ranked Calgary Dinos recording 40 points, seven rebounds, 10 assists and eight steals in the two games.

The fourth-year Arts & Science student scored a team high 22 points, three rebounds, six assists and four steals in an 92-77 loss Friday night. A night later in a 77-68, he added 18 points, four steals, four assists, two rebounds and four blocks.

Moore and the Huskies return to Canada West action January 5-6 on the road against the MacEwan Griffins.

Huskie Athlete of the Week (November 13, 2017):

University of Saskatchewan guard Lawrence Moore helped the Huskies to a weekend sweep of the Thompson Rivers WolfPack combining for 49 points, eight rebounds and 10 steals.

The fourth-year Arts & Science student scored a team high 27 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals in an 89-66 win Friday night. A night later in an 80-61 win, he added 22 points, six steals, five assists, two rebounds and two blocks.

Moore and the Huskies will travel to Victoria to meet the Vikes on the weekend.
