Chad Jacobson

Chad Jacobson has been a lead assistant coach with the Huskies since 2014, after joining the team in 2013. 

Chad's basketball career started in his home town of Brandon, MB where he graduated from Neelin High School. Jacobson spent three years as a member of the Minot State University men's basketball team from 2001-2004 before transferring back to his home town. Chad played his final two years with the Brandon University Bobcats from 2005-2007 where he was a member of the Canada West and CIS silver medalist team in 2007. 

Upon graduating from BU with his B.B.A, Jacobson stayed with the team as an assistant coach for the 2007-2008. He then spent the next two years coaching the Junior Varsity Boys basketball team at his former high school. Jacobson has been coaching with the Junior Huskies Boy's Basketball club since 2013. Jacobson has spent previous summers as the Head Coach with both the Saskatchewan U16 & U17 boys provincial teams.

Alongside his duties with the Huskies, Jacobson was an assistant coach with the Saskatchewan Rattlers of the CEBL in their inaugural championship-winning season in 2019 and served as the head coach in 2020 and 2021.
