Huskie Athlete of the Week (Feb 18, 2020):
Emmanuel Akintunde came up big for the Huskies this past week, helping the team to a playoff victory over the Thompson Rivers WolfPack on home court.

The product of Saskatoon came out of the gates hot, scoring eight points in the first quarter en route to 14 on the night.

An Arts & Science major, Akintunde was all over the court in the game, pulling down 11 boards for the double-double while also adding a block and a steal.
Â
Akintunde and the Huskies will be back in action this weekend as they head to Calgary for a conference quarter-final match with the UBC Thunderbirds.

Huskie Athlete of the Week (Nov 12, 2019):
Fourth-year guard Emmanuel Akintunde was a force for the Huskies in their weekend sweep of the MacEwan Griffins, scoring 39 points, pulling down 18 rebounds and recording four steals.
The arts & science student from Saskatoon had a game-high 24 points and 10 rebounds in Friday’s 99-63 win and followed that up with a 15 point, eight rebound effort in Saturday’s 79-65 victory.
Akintunde and the Huskies are on a bye this weekend before returning to action November 22 & 23 against the Regina Cougars at the PAC.
