Huskie Athlete of the Week (November 7, 2016):

Fourth-year University of Saskatchewan forward Shane Osayande recorded two double-doubles in a weekend split with the UFV Cascades to open the Canada West men’s basketball season.   

The Toronto product scored 18 points and 13 rebounds in 36 minutes in a 59-50 loss on Friday night. A night later in a 78-62 win, the Arts & Science student tallied 30 points and 18 rebounds in 34 minutes. He also added four assists and four steals in the weekend series.

The Huskies return home to host the Winnipeg Wesmen on November 11-12.
