Winning U SPORT as a rookie in front of my family and friends at home in Calgary.

Huskie Athlete of the Week (Feb 25, 2019):
University of Saskatchewan wrestler Logan Sloan capped off an incredible rookie season at the U SPORTS National Championship this past weekend.

The first year from Calgary won all four matches he competed in, going a perfect 3-0 on the first day to qualify for the gold medal match and then coming back from a 6-0 deficit to win gold.

The Arts & Science major was named U SPORTS Rookie of the Year after the meet and concludes his first year as a Huskie with both a Canada West and U SPORTS gold medal as well as rookie of the year honours at both those levels.

Huskie Athlete of the Week (Feb 11, 2019):
University of Saskatchewan wrestler Logan Sloan made quite the impact in his first ever trip to the Canada West championships, helping the Huskies to a second place finish.

The first year from Calgary, AB won every match he competed in, en route to winning gold in the 54 kg division. Sloan was also named the Canada West male rookie of the year for his part in helping the Huskies finish with 40 points, just one behind the Alberta Golden Bears.

Next up for Prior and the Huskies is a trip to the U SPORTS National Championships, hosted in Calgary, AB from Feb. 22-23.
