Huskie Athlete of the Week (Jan 8, 2019):
University of Saskatchewan defenceman Leah Bohlken continued to build upon her incredible offensive output in 2018-19 last weekend, leading the Huskies to a sweep of the Calgary Dinos.
On the weekend, the fourth year from Moose Jaw, recorded three points, tallying two goals and one assist.
The Arts & Science student opened her weekend with a goal and an assist in the Huskies 3-0 win over the Dinos.
In a much closer victory on Saturday night, Bohlken scored the game-winning goal with just six minutes remaining as the Huskies defeated the Dinos 3-2.
Bohlken and the Huskies are back in action this weekend for an important home-and-home set with their rival Regina Cougars. They play at home on Friday night before travelling to Regina for the return leg.

University of Saskatchewan defenceman Leah Bohlken got her 2018-19 season off to an incredible start this past weekend
The fourth year from Moose Jaw, SK will forever have her name in the history books as scoring the first-ever goal inside Merlis Belsher Place and followed that up with another goal on Saturday for a two-goal weekend when the Huskies split with the Alberta Pandas by scores of 1-0 and 2-1.
Bohlken and the Huskies are back in action on Oct. 12 & 13 for games on the road against the Calgary Dinos.
