• The Huskies and Dinos have met twice in the postseason in the last four years, with Saskatchewan taking both matchups coming in the conference (2-22, 72-62) and U SPORTS (2024, 85-54) quarterfinals
• Saskatchewan is 8-1 in all-time head-to-head meetings with Calgary in the postseason, with the only loss coming in the first game of a 2006 best-of-three series which the Dogs won
• Calgary, the No. 6-seed, defeated the Manitoba Bisons (91-67) and Trinity Western Spartans (76-47) to book their tickets back to Saskatoon
• A win would not only give the Huskies the opportunity to defend their Canada West title, but also punch their title to the U SPORTS Final 8, set to take place from March 5-8 in Quebec City
