SASKATOON - Fresh off a weekend sweep of the MacEwan Griffins, the University of Saskatchewan Huskies men's volleyball team will play their first home games of the 2018-19 campaign this weekend, Nov. 9 & 10, against the Calgary Dinos.

With both games getting underway at 8 p.m., the No. 9 Huskies (2-2) will face a Dinos squad that holds a record of 1-1 through the early portion of an extremely tight Canada West weekend.  
 
Five Things
 
1: These will be the first home games of the Huskies' season and first of Nathan Bennett's conference career.

2: Saskatchewan features 11 new faces this season, with nine of those players being transfers from either the U SPORTS or college level.

3: The Huskies are on a roll, winning all six sets they played in Edmonton last weekend.

4: Last season the Dinos swept the series 2-0 (3-1 & 3-0)

5: Saskatchewan is one of seven CW schools ranked in the U SPORTS top 10.

Scouting the Dinos
 
Calgary has played just two games so far season, earning a split with Thompson Rivers (3-1, 0-3) at home.

Tim Taylor leads the Dinos in kills (20), Blain Cranston in digs (10) and aces (2) with Liam Laidlaw rounding out the leaders in blocks (9).
