A sweep over the Winnipeg Wesmen on the road has given the No. 7 Huskies (6-2) momentum as the return to Saskatoon to host the Brandon Bobcats (2-4) this coming weekend. Saskatchewan held Winnipeg to just three points in the fourth quarter in their victory on Friday night.

Earning a split in Winnipeg in a pair of close games last weekend the Huskies (4-4) are set to take on a Brandon squad that is off to a 1-5 start to the season. The Bobcats have lost their last four games in a row.

The No. 9 Huskies (8-3-1) will head out on the road after five straight home games. They will face a tough test in the form of the No. 3 ranked and reigning national champion Manitoba Bisons (9-3-0).

Currently leading the Canada West conference, the No. 2 Huskies (11-1-0) are off to a hot start this season and have won their last ten games in a row, including a sweep of the Mount Royal Cougars last weekend. Saskatchewan will now return to Saskatoon to face the Manitoba Bisons (2-9-1).

The Huskies (2-6) battled hard against the No. 2 ranked Trinity Western Spartans last weekend but couldn't pick up the result they were looking for. Saskatchewan will be hoping that a change of scenery suits them well as they head out on the road to take on the UBC T-Birds (5-5)

A trip to face the reigning national champions is ahead for a Huskies team that holds a record of 3-5. They will be looking to stop their current three-game skid when they visit the UBC T-Birds (1-7) who are struggling to start this season after winning it all last year.

Wrestling:

Saturday, Nov. 24: vs. Huskie Open 10:00 a.m. Education Gym

The men's and women's wrestling teams will host their first action of the season this coming weekend when they welcome the University of Alberta for a dual meet on Friday night and then the Huskie Open on Saturday. The men's squad enters the weekend ranked third in the nation and the women fourth.
