The fifth-year midfielder opened the scoring in the 13th minute on Sunday afternoon, after she used her blazing speed to gather a Huskies clearance. From there, she went in on goal and sneaked past her right-footed boot past the outstretched Wesmen keeper. It was more of the same later in the half for Gay, as she ran on to a beautiful ball from Haley Mercier. The connection sent Gay in alone on net, and she made no mistake to record the brace.
