For the third time this season, Avery Pearson takes home Athlete of the Week honours following an outstanding performance on the track. This past weekend at the Canada West Championships, the veteran middle distance runner completed a sweep of gold medals in each event she competed in. Pearson took home individual gold in the 1000 and 600m before helping the Huskie 4x400 and 4x800m relay teams to first-place finishes as the USask women’s track & field team earned their seventh consecutive championship.
