Another repeat Athlete of the Week, Jake Neufeld earns the weekly honours for the second time after a dominant gold-medal performance at the 2025 Canada West Championships this past weekend in Regina. Neufeld captured first-place in the men’s pole vault, propelling himself to a height of 4.80m to blow the competition away by 60 centimeters and capture the lone Huskie men’s gold medal of the weekend. Following competition, he was also recognized as the Canada West Student-Athlete Community Service Award Winner.
