Michael Hussey has burst onto the U SPORTS Track & Field scene. The freshman from Walter Murray Collegiate recently had a record-setting performance south of the border at the Penn State National Open. Running in the 600m, Hussey finished one hundredth of a second shy of the podium in 4th with a time of 1:18.17. The rookie’s time placed him in the Canadian record books, setting a new U20 record in the event. Hussey also set a Saskatchewan provincial record in addition to moving up the USask Track & Field record books and into 3rd all-time.
