It was another successful weekend for the Huskie women's soccer team, who took the Regina Cougars in a pair of U-Prairie Challenge showdowns. Second-year midfielder Jenna Steacy impressed in both matches, recording a goal an assist to help the Dogs to one win and one draw. On Friday night at Griffiths, Steacy scored her first goal of the campaign, which proved to be the game-winner, in incredible fashion. The product of Edmonton send a high arching shot from 15-yards out, up and out of the reach of the Regina keeper to solidify the Huskie comeback win. The following night she was once again involved in a dramatic Saskatchewan play, this time sending a beautiful long distance pass to setup Alyssa D'Agnone's game-tying goal in extra time. Her impressive weekend performance helped the Huskies officially clinch a Canada West postseason berth as they currently sit in 3rd-place in the Prairie Division with two games remaining.
