Kaitlyn Harrison earns Athlete of the Week honours after a dominant performance at the second annual Dokata Classic this past weekend. The fifth year agriculture & bioresources student opened up the 2024 cross country season with a fantastic run through the hills of the Dakota Dunes Golf Links, crossing the finish line to claim 1st place with a time of 30:52.4. Her blistering time was not only good enough for the win, but also a staggering 43.4 second faster than the field. In addition to a perfect individual result, Harrison's run helped the U SPORTS No. 9-ranked women's cross country team take top spot in the team standings as one of eight different USask student-athletes who earned top-10 finishes.
