Huskie women’s soccer striker, Marie Kilcher is named Athlete of the Week after helping the Dogs light up the scoreboard this past weekend on their way to back-to-back wins. The fourth-year local product out of Evan Hardy Collegiate scored her second career hattrick on Saturday in a 9-0 rout of the Winnipeg Wesmen. In addition to her scoring showcase, she also helped teammates find the back of the net on three occasions to help the Huskies tie a program record with nine goals in a game. The following day she would earn her fourth assist and seventh point of the weekend in a 3-1 win over Manitoba. Through four games, she now ranks among the conferences most productive scorers, tied for 2nd-place in both assists (4) and points (7).
